New Years Resolution #1 – Post more work ~ regularly…..
January is always a busy month in my studio. With couples getting engaged over the December holidays, my phone and in-box get busy and inquires are daily. I am always quick to recommend engagement sessions as a way for couples to become comfortable in front of the camera as well as producing fabulous photos of the romantic courtship. Regularly I see these photos framed up and displayed at wedding receptions. They create an intimate feeling and personal touch at a venue and make the space more distinguished.
Elizabeth + Steve booked RBP more than two years ahead of their September 2015 wedding. When we first met last summer for their engagement session, we fell into comfortable conversation and ease with each other and from there our session began. We visited a few distinguished locations which included pasture land, woodlands and the sea. It was a blustery yet sunny day. It all clicked. Our friendship, the photo session and E + S being in the moment, their connection so apparent. At times it seemed like they forgot about me. As their focus was each other, the wind and the drama of the sea singing its song.
