An Intimate Wedding on Chappaquiddick

Lora and Marc were married on Chappaquiddick Island at Mytoi gardens surrounded by their parents on a glorious sunny day last week.

The newlyweds met on Martha’s Vineyard through mutual friends a few years back and during their recent trip to Italy, Marc proposed on a gondola in Venice. He had the ring made for Lora by a jewelry maker he knew, trained in Florence, with an Italian style filigree.

After the ceremony and pictures with their parents, we took a four wheeler onto the dunes and headed East to Cape Poge for some off road fun and visitas.

I was so honored to join them, to capture THEIR day as they planned, hoped and dreamed it would be.

They set their wedding date for this past August. Naji created his own Lebanese menu for their guests and Meredith made sure none of the leftovers were wasted.  Their family and friends arrived from around the globe, ready to celebrate the couple’s love.

Thank you, Meredith and Naji, for allowing me to photograph your Martha’s Vineyard Wedding!

Keya & John’s Martha’s Vineyard Wedding

This past spring Randi Baird Photography was honored to capture John and Keya’s engagement session on Lucy Vincent Beach in Chilmark. This summer they invited us photograph their wedding at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown!

John and Keya selected flower designer Kristina Collins from Tea Lane Farms for their floral arrangements and bouquets. They chose The Sultans of Swing for their live music, and Val’s Cakes for their clothing-inspired cupcake desserts.

The couple’s personal touches made the wedding exciting and memorable for their guests. They even designed their own wedding signs (pictured above).

Charlie + Ashley’s Engagement Session

Randi Baird Photography is based primarily in Martha’s Vineyard, but we love traveling! It’s such fun to explore different destinations and wedding traditions around the United States. We’ve visited Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and several times a year we head to NY to shoot family portraits, engagements, and corporate work. This past fall we flew New York City to capture Charlie and Ashley’s engagement session!

The Engagement Session took place in and around Central Park on a windless, seventy-degree October day. Between the cloudless sky and the fall foliage- the location could not have been more perfect!

Charlie and Ashley plan to marry at Martha’s Vineyard Edgartown Yacht Club for their September 2017 wedding. They are sweet and easy going, and we can’t wait to photograph their wedding!

An International Affair ~ With I Do’s on Martha’s Vineyard

American-born Amanda and Israeli-born Ido enjoyed their elegant Martha’s Vineyard Wedding on August the 20th. Born on opposite sides of the world, the couple met at MIT during a group project and fell in love as they grew to know one another.

Brought together by their mutual love of travel, Ido proposed to Amanda during their stay in France last April. Amanda and Ido chose Martha’s Vineyard as the host for their highly anticipated wedding.

The day of the ceremony proved itself to be an outstanding one, the sun was high in the sky as the couple exchanged their vows. They plan to continue their travels before setting down in their new LA home, this time to Barcelona, Madrid, Florence and Venice.
