I just photographed the new cover for the fall issue of Martha’s Vineyard Magazine. As I can not leek the image until it gets published next month, I can share two covers from last year that I never posted on my blog.
Last July the cover was the Martha’s Vineyard Magazine’s Best of the Vineyard issue. Featured on the cover from left to right are Jill Robie, executive director of the YMCA of MV, Louis Larsen, owner of The Net Result, Mateo Darack, a camper at Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary‘s Fern and Feather Day Camp, and Maggie Mae of Maggie’s Salon. Louie Larsen didn’t bring overalls but I quickly found some in a near bye fishing boat and asked politely to borrow them.
For the September-October cover I captured Earl Peters of Oak Bluffs, one of many MV residents with ancestral roots in the Azores. Earl is an avid shell fisherman and familiar face on the waterfront.
