I first met Nicci and Rich on a park bench on the SW corner of 79th Street + 5th Avenue. From their we strolled into Central Park, heading west to several of my favorite locations I remembered from my youth.
Nicci, the seasoned New Yorker who works at Google, was wearing flats but had silver high heels shoes standing bye in her tote, waiting to slip them on when the time + location was right.
Rich was easy-going and charming and was clearly smitten with his Nicci.
We sauntered and meandered as the late afternoon light started to dip and warm, our backdrop becoming exceptional and more beautiful.
I tried to camera dodge the other humans of New York enjoying the unseasonably warm day in and around Belvedere Castle, the Bandshell and Great Lawn.
I look forward to Nicci + Richs Martha’s Vineyard wedding this September, in the golden light of the late afternoon with a forested backdrop that will become exceptional and more beautiful as the sun sets over the cliffs of Gay Head.
